How can I send the documents?

You can send us the documents via e-mail, fax or carrier. In the case of “sworn” translations, the documents can be sent via e-mail, but before delivery of the translated text, it will be necessary to send the original documents.

Deadlines

The deadline for delivering the translation will depend on the length of the text, the format and its degree of difficulty. This information will be given once the documents have been analysed.

Minimum volume

There is not a minimum volume of words or pages for accepting a translation, but a minimum fare will be applied.

What is a “sworn” translation?

A sworn translation is a complete and true translation of a text written in Spanish or a foreign language, which is signed and stamped by a sworn translator accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is therefore an official document that possesses the same legal validity as the original.

When is a “sworn” translation required?

A sworn translation is normally required for any text that needs to be presented to an official body or is of official nature. Some examples of documents normally subject to sworn translation are: Academic records, contracts, documents issued by notaries, certificates of any kind, etc.

Who is authorised to carry out a sworn translation in Spain?

Only translators appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs are authorised to sign and stamp sworn translations.

Deadline and payment method
